Reuters teams up with Imperial College for FinTech data crunching

Thomson Reuters is partnering with Imperial College London to take on big data challenges in fintech, as well as the legal world.

The newswire and the university will bring together data scientists form both institutions to drive faster innovation in fintech and regtech through collaborative research projects.

The two London-headquartered organisations say Reuters will supply financial market data and legal expertise to Imperial’s data visualisation studio and work with the university’s academics to solve real-world fintech issues such as supply chain risk, financial risk management and real-time data analysis.
