The company is looking to deploy its platform throughout the US. There are only seven states where Trov has not received the approval from the regulators. Globally, the company is live in the UK and Australia, and is looking to launch in Canada, Germany, and Japan in future.

The company offers on-demand insurance policies for headphones, wearables, tablets, phones, cameras, laptops and photography equipment. To begin, a user takes a photo of their items they wish to insure and turn it on of off when needed.

Its mobile app enables users to simply turn on or off insurance cover in a matter of taps, covering from accidental damage, loss or theft. Claims can be completed through text messages, simply outlining the details of the claim. Premiums adjust automatically based on the item market value.

In a blog post Trov said, ?This continuation of our state-by-state US roll-out is only a step forward on a much larger roadmap. As the world-leader in on-demand insurance, Trov builds innovative digital insurance products for modern consumers and emerging businesses.

?This year, our platform and partners are taking new shapes as we expand into verticals including the gig economy, fleet mobility and ?last-miletransportation (i.e., scooters and bikes), and passengers and items traveling in autonomous vehicles.p>
