Bambu takes $400,000 for robo-advisors

B2B robot wealth advisor Bambu has raised $400,000 in a seed round from angel investors and mobile technology firm Tigerspike.

Based in Singapore, Bambu offers tool to financial firms, as well as businesses in other industries interested in moving into digital finance and wealthtech, based on their needs. The company products cover savings, investment and private banking.

Launching five months ago, Bambu is partnered with Thompson Reuters and Tigerspike and claims to have generated $300,000 in revenue through these clients. The company says it will looks for larger customers, such as telecoms and consumer banks to drive future revenue.

Bambu says the capital will go towards hiring more staff, product development and finding new clients.
