French personal finance management app Bankin has raised €7m in a new round of venture funding.

Omnes Capital led the investment with participation from CommerzVentures, Generation NewTech and angel investors.

The Paris-based company’s app is designed to offer users an overview of all their bank accounts with the aim of giving them a better understanding of their finances.

It also provides personalised analysis, notifications and security measures.

Bankin claims the app is used by more than 1.5m consumers across France, England, Spain and Germany.

Founded in 2011, the startup has now raised €8.4m in total funding to date.

The new capital will go towards expanding the company’s platform and operations.
