PropTech company Lavanda picks up £1m from Angel investors

UK-based PropTech company Lavanda has reportedly closed a £1m Angel investment round.

Investors to the round included Purplebricks CEO and founder Kenny Bruce, former Tesco CEO Sir Terry Leahy, Rightmove founder Harry Hill, William Currie Group founder Bill Currie and Jupiter Asset Management fund manager Anthony Nutt, according to an article by Tech City News.

The company allows property owners to rent their assets and to manage their portfolio. It’s ‘service let’ platform lets users have a safe and affordable way to start homesharing, whether its long or short term.

Lavanda also provides landlords management tools so they can have easy access to the performance and analytics of their properties.

With this capital Lavanda will look to expand its estate agent and property manager B2B offering, it said.
