Stride Health bags $23.5m Series B

InsurTech company Stride Health has raised $23.5m in its Series B funding round led by F-Prime Capital Partners.

Other backers to the round include Venrock, New Enterprise Associates and Portag3 Ventures.

US-based Stride Capital helps enroll users in the most cost-effective health plan, minimise taxes and increase pay as an independent worker or part-time employee. Through the platform users can get access to free care and discounts.

This latest injection of capital will be used to support the company’s benefit offerings.

Following the investment, F-Prime Capital partner Ben Malka will join Stride Health’s board of directors.

Malka said, “As the global workforce continues to prioritize flexibility, Stride Health provides the needed tools to transition these workers to not only secure their physical well-being but improve their financial literacy and wellness. We believe that Stride will help people choose to be independent.”

Following the latest investment, the total funding in to Stride has reached around $38m, with the company bagging $13m in its Series A financing round in 2015.
