HR and payroll platform Flare HR has reportedly secured a $7m investment from Westpac Banking’s venture firm Reinventure Group.

This latest investment adds to a $1.5m seed investment made by Reinventure last year, according to an article by Smart Company. The newly injected capital will be used to expand the platform and support the release of Flare Pay, a single touch payroll system, in September.

Flare HR offers clients a single platform for HR, payroll, onboarding and employee wellbeing. Through the offering, which has a monthly subscription based on employee numbers, users can automate the payroll process and get up-to-date data on employees.

Sydney-based Flare also allows clients to educate employees on superannuation, get discount and rewards on health insurance, and get access to car leasing.

Alongside the new investment, James Windon has become one of the co-founders of Flare HR.
