WAY2VAT raises $3.5m in latest funding round

Israel-based WAY2VAT has reportedly raised $3.5m in its latest funding round, which was led by Da Vinci Capital, and i-Angels.

Contributions to the round also came from Poalim Ventures, Standard Bank South Africa and Moneta Seeds, according to a report by GeekTime.

WAY2VAT offers users a cloud-based travel expense management platform with automated international VAT reclaims. The platform offers real-time reporting with all VAT reclaim expenses captured and processed, expense transparency, automated reporting and the ability for supplier invoices to be scanned and analysed automatically.

The offering also allows users to get automated travel and expense management, SLA reporting, instant reports and immediate reimbursement.

This new equity brings total funding received by WAY2VAT to $5m, with the company receiving a $1.5m investment last year, the article states.
