New York-based Dime Community Bank has partnered with core banking platform Fiserv.

Fiserv is a technology provider for financial institutions, providing a range of solutions for payments, processing services, risk and compliance and customer and channel management.

As part of the deal, Dime will receive a range of account processing solutions and digital banking tools. The bank will integrate Comercial CenterSM, with enhanced security and cash management capabilities for commercial and small business banking. Dime will also be able to bolster its fraud protection and add wire transfer applications.

Fiserv will supply Dime with an integrated solution to remove staff logging on to separate systems or manually gather data from independent siloes. Dime will also gain access to business and cash management capabilities for its growing customer base.

Dime Community Bank executive vice president and CTO Tim Lenhoff said, “We anticipate being able to streamline or eliminate a substantial number of manual processes, which saves the bank money and lets our people focus on servicing customers and growing our business. In addition, we will be able to offer many more solutions and services to all of our customers.”

This implementation of new technology is part of Dime’s transformation to a community commercial bank, by utilising a real-time core banking platform and integrated suite of digital banking solutions.

Last year Fiserv teamed up with Early Warning to help the company offer p2p payments.
