WebPT acquires billing company BMS Practice Solutions

Rehab therapy support company WebPT has acquired billing and collections company BMS Practice Solutions, in an undisclosed deal.

WebPT is a rehab therapy platform that helps care providers with their workflow including billing, scheduling, documentation, business reporting and electronic medical records software, among others.

US-based BMS provides therapy practices with a technology platform to handle the billing costs and collections, as well as building real-time reports. The platform streamlines medical bills so that payments are timely and ensures necessary regulations are met.

This acquisition will offer out-patient rehab providers an end-to-end solution streamline workflow, complete defensible electronic documentation, ensure compliance, obtain fast and accurate payments, and ensure high-quality care. Alongside this, WebPT will be able to bolster its revenue cycle management services and add an all-in-one billing option.

Last year, WebPT acquired patient relationship management company Strive Labs to add practices and relationship management solutions to its platform.
