Ontario Systems acquires Justice Systems for an undisclosed amount

Revenue cycle management software company Ontario Systems has acquired Justice Systems, a court case management and electronic payments solution developer.

This merger will see Justice Systems’ cash management and electronic payment services integrated with Ontario’s receivables workflow and payment follow-up automation offerings. This will create a closed loop payments and enterprise workflow service for state and local courts.

Ontario Systems is a revenue cycle management software developer for healthcare organisations, accounts receivable management teams and governments. Its receivable management services support businesses with a compliant solution to support and automate various manual processes. Clients can gain access to electronic payment processing, client and vendor statement invoices, and historic transaction auditing.

New Mexico-based Justice Systems is a court management company which offers services to mange data, support case handling and scanning documents. The platform also helps users to process e-payments, with its service capable of accepting and managing credit card, debit card and e-check transactions.

Its payment software automatically adds transactions to a clients account and updates the case file once proceeds have been collected.

Ontario Systems CEO Ron Fauquher said, “This alignment is about growth and seizing a strong market opportunity where we feel we can offer an enhanced solution. Combining our people, products, and market strategies provides tremendous benefits to the markets we jointly and uniquely serve.”

Earlier in the week, revenue management software developer Cube reportedly raised a new round of funding from Maven Venture Capital. The Greek company uses machine learning and automation technology to support businesses with managing sales quotes, evaluate tender proposals and optimise prices.
