CoAdvantage acquires fellow payroll company Remedy

CoAdvantage Corporation has acquired fellow HR and payroll company Remedy Employer Services.

This deal marks the third acquisition from CoAdvantage over the past year. Through the deal, the combined platform will serve around 4,500 clients and over 90,000 work site employees.

Florida-based Remedy provides local small businesses with a selection of HR services, benefits and payroll tools. Remedy helps to handle payroll taxes, reporting, cost controls, payroll processing, holiday and sick pay, record keeping and direct deposit.

CoAdvantage is a HR solution platform which offers professional employer organisation services. SMBs are able to access systems for tasks including payroll, benefits, risk management and HR support.

Its payroll services can simplify the whole process by streamlining data collection and offering tools to help finance teams. Through the solution companies can get help with payroll processing, wage and hour compliance, reporting, tax filing, benefits enrolment and maintenance, credit-back deductions and tax compliance, among others.

CoAdvantage president and CEO Clint Burgess said, “We are excited about the Remedy acquisition as we enter a new phase of growth to expand our market presence and enrich our customer experience.

“We are proud of the work already accomplished and expect this new partnership to deliver significant value as we build upon our strong foundation of operational excellence, supported by outstanding technology, to drive continued value to our customers.”

Late last year, CoAdvantage acquired Progressive Employer Management Company, to support the expansion of its platform. Its other acquisition was of Total HR Management and was completed around the same time.

All of these transactions have increased CoAdvantage’s scale and added management talent with similar operating strategies.
