DroneInsurance.com partner with UAS mapping platform DroneDeploy

REIN’s DroneInsurance.com has partnered with UAV mapping software DroneDeploy to offer seamless insurance solutions.

Through this deal, drone operators on DroneDeploy’s desktop and mobile drone mapping apps will be able to access insurance solutions directly from DroneInsurance.com

DroneInsurance.com is now available in 45 US states and DroneDeploy uses can choose and add policies to their pre-flight mapping workflows.

US-based DroneInsurance.com is an automated platform which enables drone operators to access insurance cover.

There is a monthly insurance coverage for each drone which will cover any ground operations. A user can then purchase Flight Liability Coverage, an on-demand cover for aerial use – terms range from one day to one year. The company offers flight coverage of between $1m and $25m.

DroneDeploy is a cloud software platform which enables professional mapping, 3D modelling, and reporting from any drone. By using real-time drone images and data, the platform can help businesses to improve decisions and lower risk.

The platform is used across the agriculture, construction, roofing and insurance, solar energy, surveying and mining industries.

REIN president and co-founder Steve Rabbitt said, “Seamless access to sophisticated tools including hardware, data analysis software, airspace management, and safety and compliance tools, is critical to a drone business’ ability to thrive and scale.

“DroneDeploy is the leader in drone mapping software, offering a complete workflow to drone operators — from service providers all the way to enterprise organizations. With our shared goal of empowering businesses with the competitive edge they need to succeed, we are excited to complement DroneDeploy’s robust drone business toolset with DroneInsurance.com’s dynamic insurance solutions.”
