PerfOps secures PLN 2m ($536,000) in round led by Finch Capital

PerfOps, a data and analytics platform, has secured PLN 2m ($536,000) in its Seed round.

The investment was led by Finch Capital, who supplied PLN 1m of the total capital injection. The other half of equity was supplied by unnamed backers.

Poland-based PerfOps is an analytics platform which monitors the content delivery network and domain name system performance. Its solution eases the monitoring of distributed network applications via real-time data on network performance, diagnosing issues and identifying bottlenecks quickly.

Some of the company’s clients included Apple, Google, Comcast, Cloudflare, Oracle, Automattic and Cisco.

Through this equity line, the company hopes to continue the development of its cloud-based load balancing product, which is expected to launch within the next couple of months. This new feature will let customers generate simple and complex routing rules to balance traffic on parameters such as real-time performance and uptime, and cost, among others.

Finch Capital partner Radboud Vlaar said, “We are delighted to back this highly skilled technical team that through innovation is driving efficiencies in the use of the internet in a number of applications globally.

“This is our first Polish investment, a country where we are seeing some very interesting investment opportunities, especially in the technological innovation and applications. We look forward to working closely with Dmitriy and his team to scale the business globally.”

Finch Capital is a FinTech focused venture capital firm, and has made a number of deals in the space this year. The firm recently led the £7m equity investment of Goodlord, a startup digitising and streamlining the letting process.
