Signaturit said to raise €7m in its Series A round

Signaturit, a provider of electronic signature technology, has reportedly raised €7m in its Series A funding round.

Capital was supplied by investors including 360 Capital, Bonsai Partners, Banco Sabadell, Faraday Venture Partners, Nero Ventures, and Bbooster Ventures, according to a report from FinSMEs.

With the new line of funding, which brings its total equity raised to €10m, Signaturit will look to boost development into its technology, the article states. In addition to this, the RegTech company hopes to cement its position in the Spanish market and expand into other European markets.

Focus is being put towards building an end-to-end contract automation platform which can manage the entire contract lifecycle, the article said.

Spain-based Signaturit provides the financial services, healthcare, insurance and real estate industries with digital signature services. The platform offers digital authentication, which enables employees or customers to sign documents either through emails or on the website.

Alongside authentication, the company supports analysis and process automation. Organisations can track signature requests in real-time to monitor process efficiency and analyse data around signing and certified emails.

Financial institutions have utilised Signaturit for digital contracts, such as opening accounts, small business loans, but also for certified communications including portfolio products and debit claims, among others.

Last year, Signaturit was selected for the RegTech 100, for a second year in a row. The list compiles all the RegTech companies every financial institution should know about in 2019.
