Mintos announce it has financed €3bn worth in total loans

Mintos, the loans investment platform, has just announced it has financed €3bn worth in total loans.

The FinTech company reached the €2bn milestone four months ago. During that period, the Mintos has also grown to 140 employees and today work with more than 60 alternative lending companies across the world.

It works closely with loan originators to support mortgage, car, short-term, agricultural and personal loans as well as invoice financing.

Martin Sulte is the CEO and co-founder of the Latvian enterprise founded in 2014. Speaking of reaching the new milestone in the startup’s journey, he said it offered “further encouragement that we are on the right track of opening up a new asset class to retail investors and rethinking how money flows from those who want to save and invest to those who want to borrow. “

The news comes off the back of Mintos netting €5m in its Series A round in November 2018.
