MPOWER Financing has secured a $100m loan facility from Goldman Sachs to help with student loans

American MPOWER Financing is a FinTech company that provides loans to high-promise DACA and international students. Now it has boosted its ability to do that by securing a $100m loan facility from Goldman Sachs.

With the new capital from Goldman Sachs, the Washington-based business has now secured $200m worth of financing capital in total. MPOWER Financing raised $100m in 2018 from Community Investment Management, the institutional impact investment manager.

MPOWER Financing describes itself as a mission-driven FinTech enterprise. It use both overseas and domestic credit data as well as future earning potential to provide global educational loans.

It also works with 350 US and Canadian universities.
