Threat intelligence platform Cyware Labs collects $3m in seed round

Cyware Labs, a threat intelligence sharing platform, has raised $3m in its seed round from a consortium of investors led by Emerald Development Managers.

With the new capital, the company will look to enhance its research and product development, accelerate sales and marketing efforts, and expand its global footprint by deepening partnerships in the Asia-Pacific and Gulf regions.

The RegTech provides organizations with tools to establish cyber defence capabilities which exchange strategic, tactical, and operational threat intelligence, and quickly respond to and manage security threats in real-time.

Its Fusion and Threat Response service is designed to help intel and ops teams facilitate prevention, detection, collaboration, and response to any cyber threat affecting an enterprise in real-time. The threat intelligence eXchange service offered by Cyware is a smart, client-server-based platform for intel ingestion, enrichment, and AI-powered analysis which supports the real-time sharing of threat indicators. This can be either internally, or externally with peers, clients and third parties.

Cyware Labs CEO and co-founder Anuj Goel said, “Threat response solutions have traditionally focused on the attack at hand, without giving much thought to other key aspects of threat information available that would allow an organization to turn an attack on its head. The barometer of responding to attacks has changed and focusing on attacker’s tactics, malware, and vulnerabilities is equally critical.

“Knowledge is power, and our enterprise product line has successfully broken down the barriers in automated threat intelligence sharing and threat response to promote a proactive, collaborative response to cyber-attacks.”
