Paper.id said to close Series A to increase SME customer-base

Indonesian bills and invoice solution Paper.id has reportedly closed a Series A round to increase its reach to more small and medium sized businesses (SMEs).

The equity line was supplied by Golden Gate Ventures and Modalku, a P2P lending startup, according to a report from Tech in Asia.

Paper.id is expected to use the new funds for increase the reach of its services and bolster its invoicing and bookkeeping system.

The FinTech offers clients software to support their digital payment, invoicing, expense tracking, inventory and financial statement needs. A user can establish reminders for bills, create and send invoices to others, keep track of due payments and ensure they are not missed.

To further support the running of an SME, clients can view real-time financial reports which are automatically created and include business invoices, income statements and bookkeeping reports.

Last year, Golden Gate Ventures held the $100m final close for its third venture fund.
