Worldline releases new payment solution for insurers

Worldline has released a new recurring payment solution for Swiss insurance companies.

The new service will give insured people a method to manage their insurance claims via a mobile app or online portal.

One of the companies to leverage the new tool is Sanitas, which can now give customers the ability to pay for insurance through the mobile app. Customers can also process, monitor and settle claims with credit cards and the Swiss mobile payment wallet TWINT.

Worldline’s solution will store card data in a completely secure environment to accelerate future payments.

Sanitas CEO Andreas Schönenberger said, “With the new Worldline system, we are able to offer real added value for existing customers and people who want to become our customers.

“Customer feedback proves that the claims and payment process is much easier and faster. They particularly appreciate the automated settlement process including storing their card data for automatic recurring charges, which is an industry first in our country.”
