Curve launches free money transfer service

Payments company Curve has released a new service which enables a user to send and receive money from any account to any account without any charges or conversion fees.

To send money through this service, a user opens the Curve app, selects the contact and amount, and then chooses which bank card to send the money from.

If the recipient is a Curve customer, they simply select the bank card they wish to receive the money on. If they are not, they simply enter their bank card details or take a photo of their bank card via a link shared by the sender.

Curve Send is the first service from the FinTech which is not directly linked to the Curve card.

The FinTech offers a payment card and app which can connect all bank cards into a single place, easing money management.

Curve head of OS product Diego Rivas said, “Customers want to send money to their friends and family with just a few touches. But with so many different options and the rise of challenger banks, the process is unnecessarily complicated, and customers end up having 3-4 apps just to send money.

“We wanted to make this whole process ten times easier for our customers. Now they have one simple, smart platform which can move money from any account to any account, securely and fee free.”
