SumUp partners with Mastercard for new business card

Point of sale developer SumUp will launch a new card for business payments in partnership with Mastercard.

Its new card will enable merchants to get quicker access to their funds, make necessary business payments more easily and closely monitor their finances. The SumUp Card will facilitate both the making and taking of payments.

The card will also guarantee next day payouts, even on weekends, which will help smaller businesses access funds when convenient.

Clients of SumUp can receive the card with no upfront cost or monthly fee.

SumUp co-founder Marc-Alexander Christ said, “This is a small card, for big ideas. Since launching our first reader, we have been dedicated to empowering merchants so they can focus on making their business as successful as possible. We had this in mind when we designed our latest product, with the SumUp Card being a smart solution so we can continue being the driving force behind small businesses across the globe.”
