Digital bank Nubank has created a $4m fund to help its clients during the coronavirus crisis

Brazilian challenger bank Nubank has tapped into its marketing budget to help 20 million customers ride out the COVID-19 pandemic more easily.

The company has created a fund worth 20 million Brazilian real, which is worth roughly $4m. The money will be used to it will offer medical advice, online psychological support and delivery services to assist customers as long as the crisis continues, Somag News reported.

The delivery services will include things like deliveries from supermarkets and pharmacies.

Nubank launched the initiative together with Hospital Sírio-Libanês, iFood, Rappi, Zenklub and Zee.now.

Nubank account holders who wish to take advantage of the services just have to contact the company via phone, chat or email.

Nubank will also offer credit to customers who may struggle financially due to the epidemic.
