InvestSuite completes €2m seed extension round

Automated investment platform InvestSuite has completed a €2m seed extension round which was led by PMV.

Additional support to the round came from unnamed business angel investors, management and employees. With the close of the extension, the company has raised a total of €6m in its seed round, which it has been raising since 2018.

With the fresh funds, the company hopes expand its market reach and products. Other uses for the capital will include growing the size of the team and increasing innovation efforts.

Belgium-based InvestSuite has built AI-powered digital investment solutions which help financial institutions digitise their own offerings. Founded in 2018, the company is operating across Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. It is also in discussions with more financial institutions in Australia.

The FinTech offers an end-to-end customisable robo-advisor, which supplies automated investment products which financial institutions can give to their customers. Other services available include multi-asset trading, quantitative portfolio construction and portfolio reporting.

InvestSuite CTO and co-founder Laurent Sorber said, “InvestSuite’s approach to measuring risk arose from the desire to capture what people intuitively perceive as investment risk. In the end, investors all want the same thing – an account that offers the steady growth of a savings account, but with the returns of the stock market.

“We cannot guarantee this, but we can optimize for it, which is precisely why we have developed our own measure of risk. By minimizing risk against this measure, we are optimizing for the most comfortable growth journey in an investment portfolio. A ‘smooth ride’, as we call it.”
