Judopay joins the #KeepBritainMoving initiative to help support UK SMEs during the coronavirus crisis

Mobile-payment scaleup Judopay has become the latest FinTech to announce its efforts to support businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

It has joined the #KeepBritainMoving initiative in response to spreading virus to help small businesses ride out the crisis.

Judopay will provide UK SMEs with a platform where they can receive expert business advice, guidance or digital payment support to help keep their business running during this period of uncertainty.

“Small businesses are the financial bloodline of the UK economy and their survival in the current economic climate is vital, not only for the growth of the UK, but to local communities who depend on them,” said Jeremy Nicholds, CEO at Judopay. “We want to play our part in helping fellow businesses during these tough times. We joined the #KeepBritainMoving initiative because it aligns with our goals and our efforts to help businesses streamline and adjust to the unprecedented and changing landscape.

“We want to support our fellow businesses by sharing advice, guidance or giving them a temporary solution to help keep their business running during the coming weeks and months; this platform will help us do that.”

Several other FinTech and RegTech companies have announced that they are trying to help out during the crisis. For instance, Australian RegTech venture SafetyCulture is offering six-month free access to its platform, QuantaVerse is offering free fraud prevention software and RegTech Muinmos is offering help to comply with laws during the crisis.
