Presenting Europe’s next neobank: Intruder

A former Sberbank Technologies employee has set out to launch a challenger bank for self-employed Europeans.

Anton Nikonorov revealed the news about his new project, named Intruder, to Rusbase. He is particularly looking to target streamers, influencers and bloggers.

Like most other neobanks , the project will be based around an app  enabling customers to open accounts, and get cards remotely, as well as automate commerce and receipt of payments on social media.

“For example: [if] a blogger sells workshops, [then] he must track everyone who paid him or made a donation, Nikonorov said, “To do this, you need to correspond with customers, maintain a payment table in Excel, and hire assistants. In Introder, the bot collects the necessary information about customers and sends it to the user.”

The project is bootstrapped by the founders, who invested €400,000 of their own money. Angel investors have also backed Intruder with an additional €80,000.
