PropTech startup Brickowner has smashed its crowdfunding target on Seedrs

From: RegTech Analyst

Having reaped huge success with crowdfunding in the past, Brickowner has now returned to Seedrs for an additional cash injection.

Last time, about six months ago, it netted £282,015, according to Crowdfund Insider. This time it aimed to collect £150,000. However, it has already smashed that target. By the time of writing, Brickowner has collected £169,790.

Brickowner is designed to help property asset managers and developers onboard clients faster and more efficiently by taking care of due diligence checks like anti-money laundering and know your customer checks.

“As part of this service, we make these investments easier to access for investors on our platform, providing them with professionally managed property investments they wouldn’t otherwise have access to,” the company said in its pitch for the new round. “This benefits the investors and the asset managers.”
