Parpera launches crowdfunding campaign with $574,800 target

Australian banking FinTech Parpera is looking to raise AUD$800,000 ($574,800) on crowdfunding portal Equitise.

The startup is set up to provide an alternative to traditional banking for businesses, freelancers, and entrepreneurs.

By the time of writing it has raised $444,000 ($319,010), selling its shares at AUD$5 ($3.59) and with a minimum spend of AUD$250 ($179.63).

Investors deciding to back the company will be provided limited-edition investor cards when the app is live, investor status in-app and on the community forum as well as Parpera insider access to exclusive strategy and company performance updates.

Parpera will use the money to build its minimum viable product together with its community of businesses and to establish its early signup waiting list.

Following that, Parpera plans to shift its focus to financial literacy and strategic partnerships to accelerate member growth.

By 2022, Parpera intends to scale and expand into new markets, member segments, and products.
