Digital mortgage software company StreamLoan has formed a partnership with insurance firm Progressive to ease burdens of buying home insurance.
This integration will deepen Progressive’s HomeQuote Explorer tool which enables homeowners and buyers to compare quotes from various carriers to find the best option. Through the deal, information users have entered through StreamLoan for their mortgage can be used through Progressive to find insurance quotes through a single click.
StreamLoan CEO Stephen Bulfer said, “Ensuring a homeowners insurance policy is secured and the information is in the system is a critical step before mortgage underwriters can finalize a loan. Having Progressive’s quoting engine built right into our platform saves borrowers time and removes a roadblock for lenders to getting the loan closed.”
StreamLoan utilises robotic process automation smart digital workflow allows lenders, borrowers and realtors to work in real-time and increase the speed of the mortgage process.

StreamLoan previously raised a $2m seed funding round back in 2018 from backers including Acorn Pacific Ventures, Whitespace Capital, former Barclays Mortgage Bank CEO Steve Weston and former Uber finance director Rajiv Krishnarao.
