Mission Secure closes Series B to bring total funding to $22.5m

Cybersecurity platform Mission Secure has closed its Series B round, which brings its total equity raised to $22.5m.

The investment was co-led by IREON Ventures, Energy Innovation Capital and Blue Bear Capital Partners. Additional contributions came from Chevron Technology Ventures and the University of Virginia LVG Seed Fund.

With the capital, the company is planning to enhance its technology and hire more ICS cybersecurity experts to support 24/7 managed services.

The company offers a managed services platform that enables organisations to secure their operations. Its tools include segmentation, threat hunting and incident response.

Mission Secure CEO and co-founder David Drescher said, “The cybersecurity concerns associated with OT have never been higher which is driving extraordinary levels of customer interest and demand.

“Our Series B funding is an investment by industry leaders helping us bring even greater OT technology innovations to market with our Mission Secure Platform and recruit the best and brightest OT cybersecurity experts for our Managed Services team to support our mission of protecting our global customers’ OT networks and safeguarding their operations.”
