PerimeterX nets $57m in its growth funding

Cybersecurity solution developer PerimeterX has netted $57m in a growth funding round to support its growth across geographies.

AllianceBernstein served as the lead investor, with commitments also coming from Stereo Capital, JS Capital, Golden Arc Capital, Adams Street Partners, Canaan Partners, DTCP, Scale Venture Partners and Vertex Ventures US.

With the equity, the RegTech company is looking to expand into new geographies and vertical markets.

The company offers a bot mitigation solution capable of analysing billions of daily events to prevent bot attacks launched from around the world by utilising millions of IP addresses and IP enabled-devices.

AllianceBernstein growth stage capital managing director Abhishek Sud said, “We see global market opportunities for PerimeterX solutions growing at a rapid pace and gaining strong traction across businesses experiencing an accelerated pace of digital transformation. The cloud-native PerimeterX Platform makes it very simple for customers to integrate PerimeterX products into their existing infrastructure to protect their digital business.

“We are confident that additional funding will help the company accelerate its innovation and maintain its leadership position.”

This investment puts the cybersecurity’s total capital raised to $144m. Prior to the round, the company netted $43m in its Series C last year.
