Authentication platform LoginID scores $6m in its seed round

Authentication provider LoginID has closed its seed round on $6m as it looks to accelerate the adoption of passwordless services.

The round was backed by a number of angel investors, including FJ Labs founding partner Fabrice Grinda, Will Wang Graylin, Hypercom founder George Wallner and others.

LoginID offers a range of APIs and SDKs that give businesses the ability to integrate FIDO-certified authentication in as little as 15 minutes.

By using LoginID, companies can integrate and scale strong authentication at low costs, while ensuring compliance with PSD2 and GDPR regulations.

This investment comes shortly after LoginID received FIDO UAF 1.1 server certification

LoginID CEO and co-founder Simon Law said, “With the fastest implementation time in the market, LoginID’s commitment to accelerate adoption of passwordless authentication helps brands earn more revenue and delight customers with secure biometrics.

“With our investment partners, we share a vision for applications, websites and e-commerce to scale biometric use as effortlessly as it is also secure and compliant.”
