Pennyworth launches financial planning app on iOS, Android to follow

UK-based neobank Pennyworth has begun beta testing of the first version of its financial planning app on all iOS devices.

Established in 2020, Pennyworth is a pre-authorised digital bank aimed at serving the needs of young professionals and middle managers across the UK.

According to the company, Pennyworth is aimed at busy professionals earning more than £40,000 per year. The app features augmented intelligence technology in order to support advanced goal setting, create tailored financial plans and offer suggestions to help customers hit their goals.

Pennyworth noted it expects an Android version of the app to be made available in early May of this year. The company said a full launch is ‘imminent’ with the neobank re-opening its waiting list to recruit more people to join the testing program.

Pennyworth CEO and founder Jeremy Takle said, “We are putting a bank manager in the pockets of busy people and making it easier for them to get the most out of their finances. Helping people fulfil their goals is crucial for truly personalised banking and allows us to build new and unique services that help achieve those goals faster.”
