Tractable fully deploys AI into Polish insurer Warta to improve claims

InsurTech100 company Tractable has fully deployed its AI solution into Warta, one of Poland largest insurers, to help improve oversight of its auto repair network.

The insurer is now using the AI across is auto operations to visually check how all its claims across its Polish network are repaired.

Warta has leveraged the AI solution since early 2020, following a successful pilot programme in 2019.

The insurer was previously only able to nominate a portion of its claims for a visual review. However, now the solution is fully deployed, Warta can visually review all its auto claims from its repair network in real-time. This will help ensure repairs are carried out more efficiently, effectively and safely, Tractable said.

If an anomaly is found in a review, it is flagged to engineers along with all the information and photos needed to resolve the issue. Tractable claims to be helping Warta review each claim up to three times faster.

Warta project manager Jakub Polnik said, ?Previously, it was simply impossible for Warta to visually check every claim across our network. But by using Tractable AI, we can make sure every claim is being repaired according to the damage and technology provided by the car producer. As a result, we have a much greater oversight of every aspect of our repair network, ensuring we are providing the best possible service for our customers.p>

Tractable AI, which is trained on photos and human repair decisions across millions of historical accidents, enables insurers to assess car damage, share recommended repair operations and guide the claims management process.

Tractable co-founder and president Adrien Cohen said, ?This is cutting-edge tech, and Warta is taking a lead in Europe in deploying it live on real claims in Poland. That means AI is making a concrete difference to real-world problems, improving the process for the insurer, repairer, and the driver.p>

The InsurTech AI has processed more than $1bn in auto claims for the world top insurers. It currently serves 20 of the world top insurers, including Tokio Marine, Mitsui Sumitomo, Cov?a and Admiral Seguros.
