FinTech startup Nuula launches beta app in the US

Canadian FinTech company Nuula has introduced its beta mobile app with a mission to ‘help small businesses succeed’.

Established earlier this year, the company is introducing an application where business owners will be able to instantly access a range of financial tools and business insights from their phone.

According to Nuula, as the product moves towards full release it will unlock additional financial products, including offering ways for small business owners to access the finance they need to grow their companies.

Nuula claims it takes core financial tools and performance insights from credit monitoring, social ratings and reviews and cash flow tracking and packages them into a single mobile format. This enables the app to provide real-time performance updates and instant access to time-sensitive developments such as breaking customer reviews, cash flow alerts and credit file changes.

While the company is currently in beta it noted it is accepting small businesses and entrepreneurs to its waitlist.  The company has locations in Toronto and Coral Springs, Florida.

Nuula CEO Mark Ruddock said, “We have seen significant innovation in consumer financial services over the past few years, however this innovation has not made it into the small business financial sector. In fact, small businesses often have to make do with out of date, disjointed solutions that don’t address their needs in a comprehensive way”

“Nuula is here to change that. We are building a mobile financial services platform, purpose-built for small businesses. Using Nuula, we want business owners to be able to access the content, tools, and capital they need to power their businesses, anytime, anywhere, in the palm of their hands.”
