Wrapbook exceeds $1bn valuation after fundraise

Wrapbook, which provides payroll technology to the entertainment industry, has collected $100m in its Series B funding round.

The investment, which brings the company’s valuation to $1bn, was led by Tiger Global Management. Additional capital came from Andreessen Horowitz, A*, WndrCo, Uncork Capital and Equal Ventures.

With the funds, the company hopes to deepen its team. The FinTech company previously raised $27m in its Series A funding round earlier this year. Since then, Wrapbook has grown its team from 20 to 90 employees.

Wrapbook provides entertainment companies with easy-to-use software for payroll, onboarding, HR and insurance.

It claims to be supporting 1,000 projects per month across the US.

Tiger Global Management partner John Curtius said, “Wrapbook is well positioned to meet the post-Covid demands of an entertainment industry eager for an all-in-one software and financial services platform that will catapult them into the 21st century.

“Their robust revenue and profile growth demonstrates that Wrapbook is tracking to be the default platform for entertainment finance.”
