Zeidler launches automated PRIIPs KID generator tool

Tech-driven law firm Zeidler Group has launched its PRIIPs KID generator tool, which will support compliant documents for both the current and new regulatory technical standards (RTS).

This new solution includes legal drafting and review and enhanced dissemination to build a one-stop-shop solution for asset managers. It also boasts an extensive calculations tool for PRIIP calculations, including transaction cost analysis and performance scenario calculations.

Zeidler senior associate and PRIIPs KID Product Owner Gemma Capelo said, ‘We are delighted that our PRIIPs KID solution is the first that I have seen in the market that is able to produce documents that are fully compliant under the current RTS and is also future-proofed to support our clients when the new RTS are finally effective.’

The RegTech company provides asset managers with compliance, legal and data solutions. Its aim is to boost compliance through research-driven legal expertise, automated workflows and digital innovation.

Its clients include over 200 clients with aggregate assets under management above $1trn.

Speaking on the product launch, Zeidler founder and CEO Arne Zeidler said, “As the asset management industry grapples with the various delays and divergences surrounding the PRIIPs RTS as well as the UCITS to PRIIPs KID transition, we have continuously worked with our clients to meet and exceed their needs and expectations for exceptional client delivery.

“Our unique combination of legal and technology talent ensures we can help our clients efficiently meet their regulatory requirements.”

The RegTech company has been in a period of strong growth. It recently launched its first office in Melbourne, Australia to support its expansion into the APAC region.

Arne Zeidler recently spoke with FinTech Global and said the idea for the company came whilst working at law firm Baker McKenzie and a request for cross-border fund registration came in. This is the legal process that enables an investment fund domiciled in one country to be sold to investors in other countries. There was a market for a simple solution to achieve this process.
