Industry-first data risk intelligence NVISIONx closes seed

NVISIONx, which claims to be one an industry-first data risk intelligence platform, has raised $4.6m in seed funding.

Companyon Ventures led the round, with commitments coming from Morgan Stanley Next Level Fund, SixThirty Ventures, Gaingels, Gutbrain Ventures, PBJ Capital and CreativeCo Capital.

With the funds, the company plans to enhance its market presence, hire more staff and further the development of its technology.

NVISIONx experienced strong growth in 2021, which includes onboarding Facebook and Platform Science as clients.

The RegTech company claims to be the first data risk intelligence platform that combines business data and cyber intel analytics to empower companies to have better control of their enterprise data so they can reduce risk, compliance scopes and storage costs.

NVISIONx founding CEO Glen Day said, “The recent cyber-attacks confirm the bad guys are still winning the cyber wars. More controls won’t fix this. Companies have lost control of their data and our Nx Platform uniquely empowers businesses to control their data and not the data controlling them.

“We’re elated to help some of the most notable brands in the world finally address the root cause of these breaches.”
