Expense management firm TripActions acquires Resia

TripActions, an expense management, corporate card and travel platform, has snapped up Resla, which is a travel management firm.

Established in 2015, TripActions claims it is the only modern, all-in-one travel, corporate card and expense solution. The company provides over 7,500 customers globally with visibility and control over spend and leverages real-time data to help firms keep travelling, keep employees, reduce spend and drive productivity.

TripActions launched Liquid – its corporate card and expense management solution – at the end of 2021 in Europe, Middle East and Africa in partnership with Stripe.

Founded in 1974, Resia is a corporate travel agency. The company also has a meetings and events offering that drives over a quarter of its sales volume, with capabilities that range from conference arrangements to the management of global congresses.

Following the acquisition of Resia, TripActions has now extended its reach through Europe with office locations in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, France, Germany, Portugal and the Netherlands.

TripActions remarked that it now supports over 8,800 firms globally from start-ups to corporates.
