Japan-based Kyash scores $41m

Japan-based payment money management app Kyash has closed its Series D on JPY 4.9bn ($41m).

With the capital, the company plans to expand by hiring human resources staff, enhancing its business domain and strengthen the service operation system.

The round was backed by Block, Grayhound Capital, Altos Ventures, Goodwater Capital, Yitu Capital, SMBC Nikko Securities and more.

With the close of the round, the company has raised a total of JPY 12.8bn ($107.3m) in funding.

Kyash mobile app provides consumers with a simple solution to make payments with a prepaid card and complete online transactions. It also offers a real-time dashboard for people to see their finances and where their money is going.
