David Beckham scores metaverse role with blockchain ambassadorship

Global football icon David Beckham has entered the metaverse after taking the role of a global brand ambassador for the DigitalBits blockchain.

According to DigitalBits, Beckham will help to ‘communicate the transformative power of the DigitalBits blockchain to consumers, brands and other organisations worldwide’.

His ambassadorship will see Beckham embark on a series of projects that will look to demonstrate the power and potential of DigitalBits blockchain technology. DigitalBits said the partnership will also drive innovation and sustainability in the sector and create new ways for Beckham to connect with his fans globally.

David Beckham currently has a huge digital presence and is one of the most influential celebrities worldwide, with over 138m followers worldwide. He is also the most followed and engaged individual on social media in the UK.
