Through the deal, Ondato and Hawk:AI will jointly offer an integrated KYC validation process combined with a state-of-the-art AML transaction monitoring and behavioural analytics suite. Both solutions are modular and can be easily and quickly integrated.
The companies claim that customers will experience a unified, fast and transparent process from ID verification to customer and payment screening, data validation and transaction monitoring.
The product increases the possibility of identifying suspicious behaviour and intentions of potential criminals during the KYC process.
Hawk:AI helps financial institutions handle compliance risk with comprehensive AML surveillance. Its cloud-native and enhanced machine learning streamlines customer and transaction surveillance. Through traditional rules and AI, the platform detects suspicious behaviour in real-time.
Speaking on the partnership, Hawk:AI CEO and co-founder Tobias Schweiger said, “Partnering with Ondato enables customers that are evaluating advanced KYC solutions a seamless path to integrate AML and behavioural analytics at the same time.
“For fast-growing banks and payment firms, access to a comprehensive compliance offering has many advantages including much faster integration and go-live.”
Hawk:AI has had a busy year. It partnered with Aux earlier in the month to boost the fight against fraud within credit unions. Their partnership will provide credit unions with easy access to HAWK:AI’s suite of advanced financial fraud and AML solutions.
It also partnered with Weavr to deliver contextual risk management for embedded finance. The partnership sees Hawk:AI’s provide its transaction monitoring, payment screening and customer screening technology to Weavr. In addition, Hawk:AI’s customer risk rating will allow Weavr to understand and dynamically score the risk of organisations using internal and external data alongside behavioural analytics.
HAWK:AI also teamed with amnis, a payment platform for SMEs, earlier in the year to strengthen the latter’s AML capabilities ahead of its imminent geographical expansion.
