Online bank nbkc selects InsurTech Mylo

Online bank and mortgage lender nbkc bank has selected InsurTech Mylo as its digital insurance partner.

Founded in 1999, nbkc bank combines financial technology with customer service to connect clients with a range of financial products, including streamlined ways to take out new home loans or refinance existing homes at competitive rates.

Mylo’s embedded insurance platform integrates into partner experiences to connect business owners and individuals with insurance products from multiple carriers, including business, auto, home, small group benefits, life and individual health.

The partnership will see nbkc bank add a dimension to its services by embedding Mylo’s tech-enabled guided insurance shopping platform.

According to Mylo, the integration between the two companies will power a “streamlined experience”.

The InsurTech added that the offering means new homebuyers can take the stress out of meeting their home insurance requirement in time for closing, and refinancers can upgrade their current coverage to better meet their changing needs. Mylo also offers coverage for auto, umbrella, renters, motorcycle, RV, boat and more.

Chad Cronk, nbkc home loans president, said, “We believe in simplifying the home loan process through technology while delivering competitive rates and great customer service. We selected Mylo because they can help our clients find the insurance they need with the same expert guidance and passion for the customer experience.”

David Embry, Mylo CEO, added, “We’re excited to partner with nbkc because they’re transforming the loan experience for clients through financial technology. Our digital platform will complement this innovative service with insurance solutions homeowners can count on.”

Associa, a community association management firm in North America, recently selected digital agency Mylo as its home and auto insurance partner.

Ron Duprey, Associa senior vice president, said at the time, “Associa selected Mylo as our insurance partner because we wanted our associations to have an easy way to connect their members with trusted insurance expertise, a convenient shopping experience and outstanding options from leading carriers.”
